LFW S/S13 Day 4

For me, Day 4 was all about Burberry Prorsum. Expanding on their archetypal trench coats, they have created a collection where the coat is reimagined in new fabrics and detailing and is absolutely the focus piece. I love the effortlessly cool, classic yet fun look they offer and wish I owned at least half these coats… or even just one!

LFW S/S13 Day 3

The collection I loved most of Day 3 was Temperley London. I love the mix of demure cuts, with high necks and a long skirt lengths, combined with clever sheer elements. And on a personal level this gorgeous collection is right up my street as a pear shape.

Paul Smith offered more dream tailoring, with simple colour blocked pieces perfectly complimenting each other.

And finally, Matthew Williamson showed a vibrant collection with a resort feel, but toned down enough to still seem wearable.

LFW S/S13 Day 2

My favourite collection of day 2 was, not that surprisingly Issa London. Their A/W12 collection was also one of my picks and their luxe evening wear is consistently stunning. As well as a featuring a range of differently cut colour-blocked gowns, the bright prints and oriental element of some of the other pieces really appealed to me.

Holly Fulton is renowned for her bold digital prints, this collection keeps the colour palette pastel and works in sports elements, I think the overall effect is stunning.

Moschino Cheap & Chic offered a collection with serious retro elements ranging from colour to fabric choices, but brought up to date with the cut of the clothes and detailing. It’s a mix I love.

LFW S/S13 Day 1

This week London Fashion Week kicked off with designers showcasing their Spring/Summer 2013 collections. My favourite three collections of the day were Antoni & Alison, Jean-Pierre Braganza and Sass & Bide.

Antoni & Alison have created a really fun collection where simple silhouettes and fabrics are transformed by clashing, colourful prints. I love the illusions they create and how much they could be dressed up or down.

Jean-Pierre Braganza has also kept silhouettes simple, with a more tailored element and flattering graphic prints. The entire collection also featured some gorgeous costume jewellery.

And finally Sass & Bide who mix textures beautifully.
